I'm a freshman in high school right now. I'm an aspiring writer and lawyer, and of course, I would love to get into Harvard. I've read on here how people keep bringing up the fact that Harvard picks people who are really passionate about something, and that sounds a lot like me.(that sounded really snobby, but I hope you get what I mean!) I've been writing for as long as I can remember, and I've been told I have talent in it. (I won the Best Writer award in our grade of 500 kids in eighth grade...)

I was just wondering, what extracurricular activities should I take to benefit my knack for writing? There's no "writer's club" or whatever, so what should I do? I'm definitely going to apply to the school newspaper which is available at my school as a sophomore, but what else is there other than that? How can I show that I'm really passionate about writing?

Extra Info: I really do love writing; I'm not making it up to impress Harvard. I write in my free time and have been trying to put together a novel. I have a fanfiction account and a blog too. Haha, I'm just trying to let you get to know me.
