Okay, so my chemistry teacher is a 78 year old woman. I just bombed her quarterly exam with a 35. I studied, but some problems on the test she had gone over once in class, no homework on them, etc. So it's partly my fault, partly hers. I also am having an issue with labs. I ask my teacher if i am doing my lab sheets correctly and she says yes. 2 days later she says i've done it wrong and fail the lab. I honestly think this woman is senile. There have been numerous complains about this teacher throughout the years, but she won't be fired because she teaches voluntarily, they don't have to pay her. So anyway, does anyone have any chemistry resources to help me know chemistry inside and out, because i feel that is the only way I will pass this class.

I don’t know what level of Chem you’re in, so my advice my not be helpful or wanted at all (I’m in honors Chem), but I had a very similar situation to you. First semester, I got stuck with the WORST Chem teacher, she literally didn’t know anything about Chem. What I did is I got a tutor and I went in during office hours of the best Chem teacher and asked for help.
Hopefully these tips can help you!
The BEST thing ever is a youtube channel called “Crash Course”. It was created by hank and John green (the author of the fault in our stars), and it’s soooo funny and interesting! They have a 40 episode series on chemistry, and it’s very funny and informative. I’m using it right now! Good luck!
