<p>no… ED schools don’t seen first semester grades. you’re fine, but maybe not for RD schools</p>

<p>yeah, i think you do… how much worse are those grades than previous years? that’s kind of what it depends on. if you had straight As before, this won’t look so good, but if you had As, Bs and maybe a C or two, you’ll be fine.</p>
<p>Schools can rescind admissions. If your ED schools are places like Ivies, and you’ve been having 4.0 averages before this year, if your grades continue as they are or even get worse, the college could rescind your admission at the end of the school year.</p>
<p>Time to shape up. Even getting a college ED admission doesn’t mean you can slack off the rest of your year.</p>
<p>If you don’t get in ED, colleges will be considering your midyear grades as part of considering you for admission.</p>
