<p>He's not getting into princeton. Joe's school is about 10 minutes away from Princeton and they do NOT accept people from our school.</p>
<p>He does, however, have good chances for Harvard, etc...</p>

<p>first off, Joe isn't getting into Princeton. I go to the same f&cking school as him, so I know a hell of a lot better about Princeton's admissions rates towards us.</p>

<p>i vouch for the princeton curse against wwpnorth. over past two years: 6 went to harvard, 3 went to yale, 2 went to stanford in a class of 300</p>
<p>ZERO reasonable people (taktins special) even got into princeton (we compete against many kids of alumni and faculty in the area, and the towns dont give pton money, unlike cambridge giving to harvard)</p>
<p>I'm kind of angry at the whole applying to Princeton early thing ... since it was my parents' idea, and they really foisted it on me. </p>
<p>I mean, I like the school a lot, but I'm not married to it, and certainly, I can think of two or three other schools that would have been just fine to apply early to as well. Looking back on it, because of the Princeton curse, it seems that I made the least wise choice.</p>

<p>well my rents foisted me into a harvard early app. and bombing all my senior courses doesnt make it so ez for me to get into stanford regular. (heh heh its either i get into harvard early, or i wont get into anywhere but rutgers.)</p>
