I'm only in the top 20 percent of my class out of 1400 students..
If I earned straight A's in my Junior year
AP Calc AB
Calculus Hon
AP Biology
AP American History
AP English
and maybe a 2200+ on the SAT, I don't have any EC's (I know thats bad, don't tell me that) So I was going to join the debate team, model un, track team( if possible) and BPA.

Please,if I accomplish this, would I have a shot at the Ivies?
My sophmore year was full of 3 or 4 C's , and lots of B's.

Please guys, I really need your help. Please, I can't be anymore stressed right now. sigh.

If you do accomplish all of the above, it isn't impossible, I don't know how much the 3/4 C's would affect you, but hopefully with great improvement/Ec's/test scores/recs/essays you have a chance.

Not too favorable, but doesn't mean you shouldn't apply.

Here's a question: WHY? Why do you want to go to the Ivies so badly? The mere fact that you mentioned them all in a group means that you're not looking for any one that suits your interests, merely that you are chasing after the title.

Find a college that FITS rather than has a title.

Actually, from what I remember reading from another one of his posts, he wants to go to Cornell.

Why, though, I have yet to know.

^^ If it's one or two specifics, then that's good. But what's the point in slaving and killing your self with stress to get into a school that doesn't even fit your interests. Sorry, it's just something that bothers me on here.

You never actually know if he's doing that, he might, but he may not be. Not everyone is
