Extremely torn between UC Berkeley and Stanford

Are we really arguing overwhether a lot of kids at Berkeley gave up Stanford?

It's like people on CC are so eager to argue over anything that they are beginning to argue over things that are undoubtedly true.

"You know, I wouldn't say the sky is blue...it's more of a stained green...."

Asa, I enjoyed reading your response in post #41, so I read many of your other posts.

I like the way you think. :)

PS Dstark, that must quite a high school for having 7 students accepted at both Stanford AND Berkeley. I guess everything is possible.

I suppose everything is possible. In all my time, I think I met a grand total of one undergrad that had actually gotten into Stanford and turned it down for Berkeley*. So Dstark and I are clearly seeing very different pictures.

Grad school is a different story. I know quite a few people who turned down Stanford for Berkeley for grad school. But undergrad, not so much.

Even more interestingly, this same guy later found out that he didn't really like Berkeley after all and successfully *transferred, ironically, to Stanford. I suppose he would have been better off if he had just chosen Stanford in the first place.

waves to Tony too
Dang, Tony, your username is only a little bit less subtle than mine.

He chose Cal by the way.

Stanford hell yes. I would say campus is a million times better then CAL.
