F-1 Visa Information

Hi, so i have been accepted to Hamilton college with 60,000$ financial aid. Basically cost of tuition and living at Hamilton is 57,000$. My question is Do i need financial proof of any kind for my F-1 Visa? Also do I-20 includes cost of Books, Personal Expenses and Travel?
Please respond ASAP!

Hello @ahtesham. Congrats on the admissions and the full-financial aid package from Hamilton. Well done! Your I-20 that you get from Hamilton should include what the source of funding is as your admission letter should detail what is provided. Colleges are encourage to list comprehensive costs on I-20s that give a solid number of roughly fixed costs (like tuition, fees, room & board, books & supplies, perhaps health insurance, and an estimated cost for “personal expenses” and travel which can vary widely depending on the individual student. Basically, if the total costs for one year of study - which are required of institutions to list on the I-20s, are less than or equal to the total documented sources of funding (sounds like all Hamilton money) which are also listed on the I-20, then meeting the financial eligibility requirement for visa approval should have been met.

In Pakistan, to help you with next steps, please get in touch with one of our EducationUSA Advising Centers for sessions on visa interviews they hold with US consular officers that conduct the interviews: [EducationUSA | Find an Advising Center](http://educationusa.info/Pakistan).

Thanks for your advice. My financial aid award include everything except air ticket which i can easily purchase. Is that mean i dont need any bank statements or bank balance to show at VISA interview?
