F-1 visa with an unofficial transcript?

<p>Hi,</p>

<p>I messed up hard and now only has less than 1 month left to renew US visa and don't have an official academic transcript (I will be a junior at my school this year). It may take anywhere from a few days to weeks for the official transcript to arrive.</p>

<p>So my question is, has anyone tried to renew their F1 visa with an unofficial academic transcript? Will they accept it?</p>

<p>If it's not possible, am I screwed or is there anything I can do?</p>

<p>You shouldn’t need a transcript at all. Your interviewer can tell from your SEVIS record (which has to be updated by your college every semester and generates your I-20) whether or not you are in good academic standing.</p>
