F in FLVS?

Hey Guys,

This is a multi-part question.

So I took physics with FLVS, but have not been submitting assignments recently because of other things. Well, today, completely out-of-the-blue, I get an email basically saying my teacher withdrew me and gave me an F (***?). I had a high A, but just haven't submitted assignments recently so she withdrew me.

(1) Is it possible to undo this? Can I just complete the assignments this week and keep the A?

(2) How will this affect college admissions? I got into Cornell (likely letter), and hopefully will get in to several more this Thursday. I have a 4.4 GPA W (3.9 UW)... how will an F look? At first it seems that it would be an immediate rescinding of the acceptance, however it's not like I actually failed the assignments, rather I just didn't understand that there was a time limit, and that I would get an F.

I am just really worried and my teacher is out-of-office until the 29th!!! It would suck to get into Harvard, and get rescinded.

Thanks!

“I just didn’t understand that there was a time limit”

“retardedly-simple assignments”

Attitude issues about this course? Hmmm?

Pick up the phone. Call the instructor. Leave a messge. AND send an email asking, politely, to be re-instated. Maybe you can be. Maybe you can’t. Be truly penitent about the whole “have not been submitting assignments recently because of other things” and maybe you will get lucky.

1) I was consistently late on my FLVS AP assignments, and yet still received 'A’s in all of the classes I took. Work something out with your instructor. If not, see if you can have the school not put the course on your transcript.

2) You will ABSOLUTELY be rescinded from Cornell if there is an ‘F’ on your final transcript. If you can convince the instructor to at least give you a ‘C’, they will let it slide. An ‘F’ will get your acceptance revoked-- guaranteed.

You have until the time your final transcript is submitted, not the 29th, so you have time to work this out.
