F in Spanish, A in Arabic

This is the scenario that I am currently in.
I got a F in an online Spanish Course last semester because I wasn't participating often.

But I want to take Arabic to fulfill my foreign language requirement.
If I get an A in Arabic. When I transfer, will the UC see the F in Spanish?

So what I am asking is if I should retake Spanish or should I take a new language?

Let me guess, are you a native Arabic speaker? ;)

To see whether the F is on your transcript, go to your school’s records department. You should plan to do this anyway, to make sure the transcript is accurate before sending it to the colleges you are applying to. If it is on your transcript, then the UCs will see your F.
The A-G requirements require at minimum a C. More details about A-G requirements can be found on this website: [University of California - A-G subject requirements](http://www.ucop.edu/agguide/a-g-requirements/)

Please retake the Spanish class. An F on your transcript is not going to look pretty.

Definitely retake the Spanish course. That F is going to tank your GPA.
