Hey guys! International student here. Applied to F&M and also gave the optional interview. Hoping for the best.
We should hear back by March 25. I actually applied Early Decision I but was deferred to Regular Decision. I have a 1910 SAT (740M 560CR 610W) and a 3.4 GPA (3.9 GPA during Junior Year and a 4.0 during Senior Year). It would be great if you guys could also share your stats.
Applied RD, F&M is a top choice.

My school doesn’t offer AP’s or Honors, but classes are advanced and I took the most rigorous courses possible (college calculus 1, organic chemistry w/lab etc)

Exchange program with deaf students (they teach us sign language and we teach them english)
Outdoors Club founder and president, cross country runner
Art courses since 7th grade + art intensive in Napa
solid internships and small business owner,
published writing piece in small american magazine and in upcoming book,
300+ volunteer hours and part of the school’s community service committee.
I have significant financial need though, and I know that will hurt my chances a lot.

School doesnt offer AP or IB classes
Went to competitive elite private school (highest gpa in class is 4.79)
Did optional interview, it went very well, i guess
EC’s: high rank in student government , house captain, hockey captain, athletics captain, first team soccer member, treasurer of community service group, a lot of athletics and soccer medals, internship at IBM(sort of), volunteered to teach a group of non english speakers English. Co president mathematics club, provost JETS/ICT club, president of LEGO group(lego group was disbanded in 11th grade tho, lol), had the highest score in AMC 12A in the state in my country where i wrote it.
Major awards: science olympiads(biology and physics), International gifted academy award. And lots of in school and interschool science awards

Weaknesses: SAT score(didnt havr time to prepare or retake,practically didnt read, still no excuse tho), huge financial aid needed.

@Snow… We met again… Last year, 580-670 on Critical reading and 630-730 on Math was the mid 50%.
