F on Oct SAT

yea =( i thnk i sucked on it. I left 3-5 blank in each section due to time. In addition, i think i got like 4 wrong on each section excluding the blanks. So what do u guys think i got on it? i was guessing somewhere from 1500-1600??

cmon guys.. help me out here.. i omitted 3-5 and got 4-6 wrong per section.. in cr, i might have gotten more wrong.. possibly 8-10.

when i got like 10 wrong and omitted like 1 or 2, i got like a 620 on reading. (in january). But i guess -10 was a 680 in june? Depends on the curves i guess. But i dont think it'll be between 1500 and 1600.

how does curve work and what is the curve for oct sat?

umm dude, u know how theres 10 sections, i meant that i had like 4-6 wrong on each of them. and on CR, like 8-10 on each of the 3 sections.. nd like 3-5 omitted.

uhm....i would cancel then if ur that positive. because 10 wrong on each section would be 30 wrong total, and then you divide that by 4, taking away even more from your raw score.

figure on about 20 points off for each,

well i wanna see what i got.. i didnt get 10 wrong on each for 100%, writing i maybe had like 4 wrong on each and omitted like 4. and math, some i had like 7 wrong, some like 6 some like 4 and omitted like 3-4 on each.. CR i had like 10-11 wrong nad omitted like 3-4 on each.

sushant its better if u cancel: even ur guesses are not such great scores! u can probably improve! are u a senior or junior (if junior u should defiantly cancel)

ya i would cancel. this is going to taint ur scorereports forever, and if your guesses about how many you got wrong are correct, i would have to guess below 600 for some

im a sophmore.. so idk if it will really effect me ^_^. I really dont want to cancel.

the real question is why the heck are you bothering with the SAT as a sophomore?

if ur a sophmore, then cancel. it will affect you, because the score will always be with you. THere is some CRAZY girl at my school who took the sat in 8th grade, and scored about 650 on each section

I didn't think the timing was bad at all. I finished early on nearly every section, and there was only one that I omitted due to time. I just set my watch to 12:00 (analog watch) at the start of every section, and then I can easily tell how much time I have left. That was a suggestion from my ACT prep book, where the timing is much tighter. I think it worked well.

i think the timing is tighter for the SAT than the APs. I like the AP exams so much better :(

oh jeez i dont wanna cancel =[ my parents gonna kill me for wasting 60 bucks ='[. I told them i did terrible but they said they just wanna see what i got.

although my scores are above national averages, my scores are pretty bad compared to others on this site. maybe seeing my scores and how many i left blank will help you be at ease?
