Around what time can I expect to receive a financial aid award notification? Thanks.

I’m waiting for a response too. I hope someone helps.

They don’t come out until early August

“…The FAFSA becomes available after January 1 of
each calendar year. To receive maximum consideration forneed-based or merit scholarships, we encourage you to file the FAFSA by February 15. If you submit the FAFSA by February 15, you should receive your Online Planning Letter in mid-March…”

Your finalized award will come later, but people have said that it usually is pretty accurate based on your initial estimate.

My son was admitted quite some time ago (and we had the FAFSA in in January), but his birthdate does not show up on the financial aid page log-in. I wonder what they’re waiting for?

I just got an estimation today

Just got my letter today.

I got an email a few days ago about my estimate but nothing in the mail. You said you got an actual letter? If so are you a transfer student and did it come with your transfer evaluation?

Nope, check studentaid.rutgers.edu/new.

By letter I meant the electronic estimation.

Also, I am a first-year student, sorry.
