<p>I was wondering if anyone has heard from Financial Aid yet? I saw in the Sewanee 2016 group where one kid, non scholars weekend, received their packet yesterday. We still haven't heard anything here. I'm dying to find out where we stand as I'm sure everyone else is. Please post if you've gotten anything yet.</p>
<p>My son received admission packet today with a scholarship award. He didn’t apply early for any of the bigger scholarship so this was nice.</p>
<p>I was just coming on to post that we just got D’s also. It came today.</p>
<p>I wish ours would come CC… I hate to make visit plans without it. I am going to call tomorrow… I know they are waiting on out tax transcript but our accountant mailed our tax returns so they aren’t showing up yet… ARGH!! I hope that Sewanee will at least give us some sort of an estimate without it… Uof Denver would not.</p>
<p>It can’t hurt to call, they’re very nice on the phone. They can tell you if something has been mailed or not I’m sure. Your son being the outdoorsman that he is, I really think it’s a trip worth making 5Boys. Of course it is an expensive one (my MIL lives in Cali so I understand), but the campus and the school are truly breathtaking. They did tell me when I called about D’s aid last week, that they mail them as they’re processed and not done in batches. They really gave us a great package and we’re happy. Have you run the financial aid calculator on their site? Our out of pocket came in almost exactly to where they said it would. </p>
<p>We are now done! There was no more waiting once we got an affordable package from Sewanee, for D. The deposit has been paid and she’s now enrolled!</p>
<p>CC… Just saw this as I came on here to pm you… I called today but said that they were still processing his FA. All she could tell me is that it will be out by the middle of next month… so I guess he will have to visit without knowing his $. I am glad to hear that you got a good package and I have read that they are pretty generous, so i guess I will just have to have faith. So happy for you that you are done!! That feeling must just be amazing… can’t wait.</p>
<p>They told us that they were still processing D’s when we called last week also. BUT, it showed up on Monday, so hopefully it will be sooner rather than later. As outdoorsy as your son is, I guarantee he will love the visit regardless. And I’m sure you know about the EMS Services that are student run. That sounds great for your S.</p>
<p>Other than merit scholar award, we have heard nothing. Filed tax return in February and forwarded tax transcript three weeks ago. I hope their calculator is close! We have received FA info from all other accepted schools and D is anxious to make a decision.</p>

<p>We received S’s aid package yesterday. It was more than we expected, especially since they don’t guarantee to meet full need. Looks like he’ll be going there.</p>
