(Father died, mother has a muscular disease and living with elderly grandparents who are not healthy). This kid works just to help pay for basic things like food. His guidance counselor bought him new clothes and drove him to Dartmouth for interview. There are good people in this world!

<p>My apologies, I must have missed the part where you said he has an EFC of zero. Has he considered going to a community college for two years, getting great grades, and then transferring to his state’s flagship school? Because community college classes often cost like $200 in county.</p>
