D has several EA schools where she was accepted Fall 2014. We have yet to receive financial packages from any of them although the FAFSA was filed January 2nd and profiles were filed in October. Do they wait until the RD decisions are made to provide the package to EA applicants? Seems they would try to get those out of the way asap once the FAFSA information is filed.
Son has been getting them since last month. Latest was Minnesota two weeks ago. I from what I read March is a big month for hearing back.
We received two so far. I uploaded to IDOC and mailed copies of tax returns to several schools last week. They will be coming in, but make sure you’ve submitted everything. I just saw on Hamilton’s financial aid page that they have their own special forms and want 2014 taxes etc. as of two weeks ago. Don’t assume all they want is the FAFSA and CSS Profile–go through the checklist at each school. Wellesley also has its own form, and Smith does, and many others…
All set redpoodles (I think lol)…only one I missed was Bates wanted 2013 returns as well, go figure. I didn’t upload to IDOC, I put everything hard copy into a priority mailer last Tuesday, they should have received it on Wednesday. Actually, now that I think of it, the priority mail has a tracker, think I’ll check that.
Last year, we did receive scholarship notices from November to Feb. But estimated financial aid packages from March.
Yes, all the acceptances came with scholarship details but no financial aid amounts which is crucial in our decisions.
