<p>Oh wow…only 20 Presidential? Yikes. My kids’ university awards over 500 Presidential scholarships every year (full tuition). About 500 is the typical yield - the actual number of awarded is much higher.</p>

<p>Well now that the admissions cycle is over I’m happy to report that I received excellent financial aid offers from Harvard, Stanford, Princeton and Caltech (MIT and UChicago not so much). They were extremely sensitive to my family’s financial situation, and I am now delighted to join the Stanford Class of 2016.</p>
