<p>Ah, well this will sound weird, but does anyone else's profile say they updated recently when they haven't updated at all?</p>
<p>I had this bet going on with a friend... it was irreverant and stupid, but seeing as we were both Facebook addicts for awhile we made a bet in December to see how long we could go without updating our Facebook profiles, no matter what. </p>
<p>We started December 13, 2005 and both of us have held out and not updated since for any reason in any way... but now inexplicably our Profiles say that we had updated on March 23, 2006.</p>
<p>Anyone? Anyone else notice this? I know it doesn't matter, but we had our freaking bet going for like three months and now Facebook ****ed up... oh well.</p>
<p>Does it say that the day they updated was March 23rd? Almost all my friends' profiles say they have updated on the 23rd. That's impossible, of course. I think that Facebook messed up... but it sort of sucks for my friend and I, our bet's messed up... plus it was sort of fun having a "last updated" date still in 2005.</p>
<p>Yeah, I didn't notice it but all my friends seem to say March 23 last updated as well. I think it has something to do with that new (useless) search feature they added. A shame they ruined your bet.</p>

When you're a Facebook addict and you're betting someone with high stakes involved, you learn to prize continually seeing that sacred "Last Updated: December 13, 2005" date that is always posted on your profile for THREE freaking months. When I logged on today I almost spit out my Coke at the sight of "Last Updated: March 23, 2006." </p>
<p>It "ruined" the purity of the bet. I don't have that 2005 date on my Profile anymore. I will NEVER have that "2005" on my Profile again, and I was literally the only one of my several hundred friends who hadn't updated since the new year. The "March 23, 2006" thing totally ruined part of the bet and the physical, digital proof of a spell of 3 month long self-control.</p>
<p>sure it means that it doesnt say 2005 anymore, and i know u care about that, but it doesnt change the bet at all, the loser would be the first to change their facebook</p>
<p>i noticed that today too. i wracked my brain trying to figure out if i had updated on the 23rd and I know i hadn't updated since the 12th...but whatever.</p>
<p>that sucks, though. sorry about your bet, i can completelly understand why that would mess things up so much.</p>

<p>ah,... was everybody elses facebook down this afternoon too or just my school... it was at least between 12 and 230 out here, so 1 and 330 out east... it was terrible! i was researching and reading and actually getting my work done because facebook wasn't working and the school's email never works anyway (anybody else know about Oracle/OCS...?)...
Man, two hours of work actually getting done in 2 hours and not the usual 3.5 (we call them facebook study hours,,, FSH as opposed to actually studying hours or ASH)... .. thats something new.</p>
