<p>I think certain elements of Facebook might be a fad, but it HAS changed the way we relate to one another. Maybe MySpace paved the way for that and Facebook streamlined it, and maybe there will be something else yet. But I don’t ever think social networking will fade away or not be a part of our lives. It’s just too powerful and it’s done too much to change the way we communicate, especially in college. It might not reach the same amount of people across the world that cell phones do. Perhaps it will only be something that is in developed countries. I don’t know. But it’s too huge to not be a part of our lives anymore, whether you love it or hate it. I personally think it’s a godsend for anyone wanting to manage their social life and connect with others.</p>
