Facebook.... friend or foe?

I believe facebook to be the ultimate paradise for procratinators. Have any of you decided to do a task or assignment, but end up spending all your time on facebook? What makes it's so appealing? I even have proffessors with accounts haha!!

Turn off computer

Unplug power cord

Give power cord to friend

Tell friend to hide power cord

????

Profit!

Pffft I don't need facebook to procrastinate.

Chipmoney, ditto. But, it's pretty incredible for procrastination. If I listed every hw/project I've done this year, would that prove the point?

are u in Arts?

try to handwrite all ur papers (without ur comp of coz) then typing it into ur comp.

I just set Parental Controls and blocked the site.

CC is a bit of a procrastinating tool, too

^ Oh yes, definitely! :D

^^ confirmed. Its my 4th visit today.

i don't know how anyone can get addicted to facebook. i log on everyday, but i stay on for like a minute. check messages and wall, then leave. i'm actually addicted to forums and youtube.

Facebook is only addictive when you start surfing random friends' profiles out of sheer boredom and start talking to them.
Or if it becomes a replacement for email/IM.
