Hey, do you guys have any idea on how to get a internship at Facebook over the summer. Do you have any tips for getting one, things they look for in applicants? I’m currently a freshman in high school so will this hold me back or will they see potential in me? any tips or ideas wil be appreciated THX!!
Ah…, college students hustle to get FB internships. You aren’t going to get one in HS.
alright, do you any other tech companies in Silicon Valley that offer internships to high school students?? btw thx for the reply @intparent
are you just looking for tech companies in silicon valley?
@ballingthenbooks How much coding and CS experience do you have?
@MITer94 I started learning java and web development in winter, but I’ve taken a bit of a break since March because I’m studying for AP exams. But all my exams are done on Monday, so I will again be spending around an hour everyday dedicated to learning Java in depth.
@IsoDidact yeah I live in the Silicon Valley, so I’m hoping to get an internship at one of the companies nearby over summer.
Try for a small startup that really needs your skills. Most companies are done summer recruitment by now.
Yes, I would agree. Try to find and contact a smaller company, perhaps a startup local to your area. Do you have plans for the summer if you don’t manage to get the internship?
Hi. I do have a little question that goes along with what the guy said… are there potential opportunities for one to intern remotely for a company/startup?
yeah yall know where we can get an internship?
@IsoDidact I have applied to Endevvr and I’m feeling pretty confident about my chances but we’ll see. In the meantime I’m coding up some ideas for apps most likely, I’ll have to get a bit more experienced in web dev and hopefully some free lancing opportunities in web dev
