<p>You cannot gain access until you have a valid college email address. You won't get a college email address until you have enrolled in a school. And even after paying the enrollment fee, you have to wait until they give you your address, which many schools don't give out until orientation.</p>

<p>One of the colleges I applied to (NYU) gave me an email address as soon as I was accepted. So I had an NYU facebook for awhile even though I didn't plan on going there.</p>

<p>why do you use the past tense? You should still have the NYU address.</p>
