One of the harvard students I chatted with on the phone said that I should get Facebook. Though I've never really been into Myspace and keep forgetting about the yahoo group (oops) I set up a FB account but under high schools. Do you guys think I should just go ahead and use the college login? I emailed the tech about transferring from HS to College but it doesn't have those capabilities yet. Does anyone here have facebook?

Use the college login...? does that mean with your Harvard email? You can always have two accounts and friend everyone from HS...they'll probably have HS ones as well. Actually, I don't know...I joined before they allowed HS and college to friend each other...I liked it better that way, not gonna lie. You will too probably...ah well.
I'd just use the college one. HS facebook is really similar to myspace, real Facebook is...Facebook. What can I say? :D

I've got a facebook. I personally think it's basically a more sophisiticated version of myspace in that you have many of the same capabilities, but your privacy is so much more limited and you can only have people view your profile if their in your networks or your friends, and personally I have a good time with it, so I say go for it. Also, I think all you have to do to get an account with both your hs and college network you need to just click on the networks page of your account homepage, and I believe that in the right column they'll have a space for college/school networks and under that should be a work/office network.

a harvard dropout created facebook

facebook is pretty useful because you can join college groups and discuss with current students everything about college. Facebook is good. I don't know of a college student who doesn't have one. When you register with facebook use your college email address.
