<p>A lot of my friends are either good friends/have conversed with a lot.</p>
<p>only a few of those-- people who live near me now so they think we should be friends [but i don't actually know them], or people i met and talked to for all of 10 minutes at calso. <em>shrugs</em></p>

<p>Nope. Never had a person I've never met try to add me as a friend. Pretty lucky, in my opinion.</p>
<p>I've added a few friends whom I met at CalSO and I suppose I only talked to them a few times.</p>

<p>Practically all my friends from Duke on facebook are ppl who i haven't talked to before, otherwise i'd have probably around 30 ppl as friends and around 3 at Duke.</p>
<p>yeah, that's pretty silly. i don't get why people have hundreds of friends on facebook that they don't even know (esp incoming freshmen who haven't even attended the school yet and already have like 100 friends - it just doesn't make sense).</p>

<p>I've had a couple people try to hack into my facebook account...there must be a way of finding out who.</p>

<p>Nah, as a beginner to Facebook, I think Facebook's a cool way to make friends at the University you are anyway going to go to. Yeah, I've had at least one random person message me, but that's 'coz we were going to do the same seminar. Always good to know someone - you never know when those hand signals might come in handy...</p>

<p>BTW, the founder, Mark Zuckerberg, is hoping to sell the site out for $2 billion, as BusinessWeek once reported.</p>
<p>Unlimited...Some people submitted "password reset" requests for my facebook, which was sent to my email. They couldn't get into my email account, which is why I knew they had sent them there since the emails were unread.</p>
<p>I do know for sure that one of them was my friend, who was playing a trick on me. He later admitted it and said he just wanted to screw me up and prevent me from getting into my account for "fun."</p>
