and yea, to two posts above: I doubt you would be accepted to Princeton seeing as how they dont accept transfers...

Princeton doesn't take transfers!!!

Once again, the kid was joking.

I can't believe how many people misinterpreted godsend's post, maybe all their sarcasm meters are not functioning due to the stress of the transfer app process, lol.

I was rejected from NYU last year and have foolishly applied to both it again, and Columbia.

I am rejected from McCombs School of Business - UTEXAS @ Austin
Major: Accountancy
Out of State Transfer
Community College

Rejected for having too many credits (McComb's 90-credit policy).
Didn't feel that bad because I knew about this policy. Also, I am applying to 11 other universities (got accepted at UIUC & Syracuse).

No...I won't be applying again.

I applied to Yale and Columbia but did not get in.

Didn't apply to Penn, Brown, or Stanford.

Accepted to UCLA.

All schools that I am applying to next year.

You got your results for Yale and Columbia already?

^ I think he's in high school

I'm a freshman in college.

Which means you applied as a freshman in Columbia due to transfer credit req's?

Wait. That means that you applied for transfer to Yale, Columbia, etc... You had to. how did you get your results so early?

I had a terrible senior year experience--it was a result of many factors and no fault of any particular person. But I was ultimately rejected from Columbia. I took it terribly and cried myself to sleep for like a week. I know that sounds pathetic. And I was so pretentious too. I got into NYU, but I didn't even feel like NYU was good enough for me, which is completely absurd. I didn't even end up going to NYU because I couldn't afford it, so I guess that serves me right. I'm going to a state school right now, and I'm loving it here. There's a very broad spectrum of academic achievement here, but I love it because I'm still being challenged, and I found that intellectually stimulating environment that I wanted. With that said, lol, I did apply as a transfer to Columbia. I know I'm going to get rejected again though, but I did the application the way I wanted. My grandma passed away the summer before senior year and I didn't know what to write about, so I wrote about that experience, and it is important to me, but that essay wasn't me. The one I wrote this time around is funny, witty, and charming; I absolutely love it. And I'm already satisfied, so yeah, it's all good. I wish you all the best of luck though, and I hope, whatever happens, that you'll be happy with wherever you are attending. I'm sorry for the super long post.

Hey Lavie , Good luck with your application and I hope that you will get in. I know that you like the school you are currently attending but you just love Columbia and want to go there.
