Faculty of Arts and Science...

Hello,

I applied to the Faculty of Arts as well as the Faculty of Arts and Science. A few other kids from my school have applied to the faculty of Arts and Science have not heard back yet, and neither have I. I have noticed that most of the people on these threads who have heard back from Mcgill (who have heard back) have not applied/been accepted to the Faculty of Arts and Science, and some friends who don't go to my school who have heard back applied to others as well (like engineering, education, etc.). Does the Faculty of Arts and Science notoriously take longer to hear back from? THat would make sense because it is more selective, and they may wait until they have most of their applicant pool to choose their cutoff. Any similar experiences/information would be helpful - though I am sure it is difficult to know.

There is no Faculty of Arts and Science. There is a joint program between the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Science that leads to the unique degree Bachelor of Arts and Science.

Based on past years decisions seem to come out randomly. They do not seem to be based on when you completed your application nor what faculty you applied to. All that is certain is that you will hear by the end of the decision period posted.
