Faculty transfer at McGill

<p>Hi, I was wondering about how easy it is to transfer faculty in McGill? Also if you transfer do you have to start the whole course from the beginning or can you join at a certain point?</p>

<p>I was thinking of applying to McGill for entry this January (Winter Term 2011 entry) and the only faculty which has entry in January is the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (on the MacDonald campus). I would like to join in January but possibly transfer faculty in September 2011 to the Desautels Faculty of Management for the BCom course. I am most interested in doing that but I would not like to loose a year (I have finished high school and am on a year out) - therefore would it be possible for me to transfer into this faculty and start the course in September completing it in 3 years, instead of having to start from scratch and doing it in 4 years (I think my year starting in January would count as a year)? Please help me find out!!! Thanks.</p>

<p>Transfer is pretty easy. But I am pretty sure that Desautels only accept transfers during the fall terms.</p>

<p>MEANWHILE, do your math requirements: Math 133, Math 140, Math 141. Get good grades and you will definitely get in. Management does have freshmen requirements, which is your math, humanities and language. But it is pretty lax.</p>

<p>I transferred into management U1 from U0 life science. And I took all science classes.</p>
