<p>so i just corrected my fafsa and my efc went from a little over 1k to 24k. I was trying to put that my dad had filed taxes, after it said 24k i went back and saw that i had put that i(the student) had filed taxes. SO basically i put all the info in the wrong place, it should have went under my fathers name. Now i have to wait until it is processed before i can correct it.</p>
<p>It’s always nice when someone is able to make a mistake, find it, and develop a workable plan to correct it. I wish you the best of luck in college; with the skills you’ve displayed so far, you can handle pretty much anything they throw at you in the future paperwork wise.</p>
