I’m debating whether or not to apply for FAFSA and/or Cal Grant. Theoreticly if these 7 fictitious students applied which, if any, would likely be accepted based on combined parent gross income.
Student 1: 10,000
Student 2: 50,000
Student 3: 100,000
Student 4: 150,000
Student 5: 200, 000
Student 6: 250,000
Student 7: 300,000

California public universities all but compel you to complete a FAFSA. Your reported income doesn’t directly impact admission decisions. Be truthful on your application.
