So I know that to get financial aid for colleges, you have to fill out fafsa and the css profile but I din't know you had to send it to specific colleges. I just found out that some of the deadlines to turn them in to the colleges I applied to have already passed. If I send them in late, will I be able to still get some financial aid?

You might. You might not. TO have any chance, you had better turn the stuff in as soon as possible. The answer is probably that you may have missed out on some of the best stuff that goes to those who have their things in on time but there will likely be somethings still left. Your federal monies will still be there, for instance. Get moving now. The longer you wait, the further back in line you will be.

Get that FAFSA done ASAP too. There are some forms of federally funded need based aid that have limited funding per school, and are awarded on a first come, first served basis. These include Perkins loans, federal work study, and SEOG if your school has that.
