I am confused on the whole process for financial aid. I submitted my fafsa and my EFC was 25.

Recently, I have been awarded a full ride academic scholarship (60k). This scholarship was not based on need. Does this now mean I am ineligible from receiving aid from the government?
The full ride covers tuition and room and board, and gives 350 for books a year, but there are other expenses for going to college. Do they weigh the other expenses when giving out aid or do they only weigh tuition and board?

Will I still get any money from say the pell grant?

I'm not trying to be greedy, I am just wondering what to expect... :/

You will still get your Pell grant. That is an entitlement, and you get it even if the total of all your non need based aid exceeds the Cost of Attendance (tuition/room/board/fees/miscellaneous expenses; established by the college).

The only thing to be aware of is that there may be some schools that will use federal grants such as Pell to help pay the full ride … that is, they could reduce the amount of the institutional part of the scholarship by the amount of the Pell. I don’t know of any that do this, but it is possible there are some. If you are worried about this with your school, just call and ask.
