FAFSA Appeal question

As of now, I am on financial aid suspension and I take 100% responsibility. I have now brought up my GPA above the minimum requirement, however I did not complete 67% of my courses (I sit at 66.2%, only .8% shy away ugh).

I do not have a medical excuse, or any of those sob stories about how I had cancer or my relative died. I just flat out did not know what I wanted to pursue as a career and no drive.

I was wondering if I were to be straight forward and honest in my appeal, and explain to them that I am more dedicated than ever, and am SO ever close to receiving my AA (I'm only 19 credits short, taking 12 this spring and 7 in the summer), do you guys think I would have a chance of getting my aid reinstated?

I’m not psychic and can’t predict what outcome you’ll get. But I do know that if you don’t file the appeal, you will have NO chance!

What’s important in the appeal letter is not the sob story, but the steps you’ve taken to ensure that you will be successful if allowed to continue. You screwed up before because you had no goal. If you now know what you want to do, have identified a career objective, and are committed to working towards that objective, then say so.
