<p>I applied to 10+ schools and FAFSA only allows you to send the form to 10 schools. With that said, I selected schools with FAFSA deadlines of Feb. 1st. However, I still have 3-4 schools left over, how do I put them into FAFSA? Do I have to delete all of the 10? How will I know if those 10 schools have received my form? Thanks in advance.</p>
<p>Wait until they send you your SAR and confirmation, then you can log back in and pick "add/delete colleges. You delete your old ones and put in the new.</p>
<p>Once they process the first 10, usually around 3 days once you submit electronically, you can do a “correction/add-delete school”. You can delete the 10 and add the next 5 or 10. </p>
<p>That will take a few days to process. The first set of ten will call Transaction #1…the next one will be Transaction #2. Later, when you get final results (say you file your returns later), then you correct Transaction #1, then #2.</p>
<p>Ours was fast, the next morning, but it can take a few days if you don’t have a pin yet.
I’m glad it’s not just 6 or 7 schools the way it was 4 years ago, at least 10 is a decent amount for most students. Mine went over by 2.</p>
