FAFSA - can't log in

<p>I'm hoping someone can help me figure this out. I tried logging into the FAFSA application today and it won't let me log in.</p>

<p>I'm confused because I thought the deadline is the end of June 2012 to file the FAFSA for 2012/2013 school year.</p>

<p>This will be the first time filing for 2012/2013, although I did file in 2010 and 2011 without any problems.</p>

<p>I looked back and last year filed later than this, can anyone tell me what might be causing the problem?</p>

<p>Never mind! Site must have been down for maintenance, all’s well now! Phew!!!</p>

<p>Would have been nice to have seen this somewhere on the FAFSA site, received this email today in reply to my request for help:</p>

<p>“Please note that FAFSA on the Web scheduled maintenance occurs every Sunday from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. EST. If you attempt to access FAFSA on the Web during this time, you will receive the database maintenance error.”</p>

<p>Maybe this will help someone else!</p>
