Fafsa confusion

So, I just now started the FAFSA, and I need a little help with something. my dad collects social security, and because i am still in school, i get about $900 a month, but this will stop the month before i graduate high school. According to the paperwork the social security office sent me, i don't have to pay taxes on what I have gotten. (I've never had any kind of job before, so i don't really know much about the whole tax thing) do I have to put that money on the FAFSA? My family is really low income,so I'm sort of scared that this will mean i will get less financial aid.

Untaxed social security income is not reported on FAFSA.

It used to be. My daughter’s first FAFSA was for the2007-2008 school year and back them it was reported. My daughter also received SS because her Dad was retired. We were able to get a special circumstances adjustment and it was removed. But that is not necessary now they changed it in the 2009-2010 FAFSA to where it does not have to be reported o FAFSA…
