FAFSA/CSS: Non custodial parent is completely out of the picture?

<p>Some of my schools require a noncustodial parent form for the CSS profile and of course there's a lot of information on the fafsa regarding the noncustodial parent.. Problem is I have absolutely no contact with my father. I don't know where he lives or how to contact him and he certainly can't go online to fill out the profile. </p>

<p>Ask your GC for a form regarding an absent noncustodial parent. There is a procedure for this. If s(he) does not know anything about it, call one of your college and get the process. Some schools will not accept this situation but most will.</p>

<p>There is absolutely no information on FAFSA regarding the non custodial parent. </p>

<p>For CSS schools you will have to ask about a waiver.</p>
