<p>One of my friends called the admissions office about the Jan. 15 deadline for CSS and FAFSA and the people there just said to submit an estimate FAFSA by the 15th. The problem is, I've only applied for a FAFSA account last week, and I'm afraid I'll run out of time</p>
<p>That's my concern as well. Between the FAFSA and the scholarships, I'm falling way behind. My question is if the FAFSA opened it up on the 1st, why do they require it on the 15th? Not complaining, just wondering why they require it in such a short time.</p>
<p>The FASFA date is a submit deadline, not a "received by" one. It won't take long anyway, just try and finish it today or tomorrow.</p>
<p>How long did it take you guys to get a pin code approval from FAFSA? It's been 8 days now, so I'm kinda worried.</p>
<p>The PIN should be automatic, I think. It was immediate for me.</p>
<p>I got my pin the next day, and my FAFSA processed in a day too. Did you apply for pin online and did you create your own? I don't think they will send you a email saying your pin has been verified. If you have created your own pin, have you tried to log in?</p>
<p>I can log in w/ the password I created, but I still haven't heard back from the PIN number, though that was 10 days ago. I think I can still submit the forms though</p>
