Hi, I am a current college freshman at NYU. On Jan 1, 2014, I submitted my FAFSA for the 2014-2015 school year. My question is this: does it make a difference if you submit the fafsa as early as possible? Also, if that does make a difference, I corrected my tax return information just a few weeks ago - does the fact that I submitted a correction change my submission date into the later date, or will my school still recognize my submission date as Jan 1?

I believe your submission date is the date of,your initial submission.
