Fafsa does not give me student financial page

I completed the fafsa last year and remember listing my students earnings but this year there is no page to include this. She answered the question are you interested in work study and the SAR shows the tax return and income questions should be next but they are not. After student demographics the fafsa jumps straight to school selection.

I completed my financial info and we do have a zero efc and claim reduced price lunch so I wonder if this is why but the SAR does seem to indicate that she should include her financial info.

Does anyone have any insight or know what I could be doing wrong?

Skip logic. You have a $0 EFC, and qualify for free lunch. This makes you eligible for the simplified needs test…so the FAFSA skips, the sections you do not need to complete.

I see the sense in this answer but my income was a little less last year and we received reduced price lunch too but still still completed the info about her income. The SAR this year shows they assumed she will not file and I need to make corrections if necessary. Also the student financial info comes before the parent. For some reason it is just not there at all. I could understand if it was shown but greyed out.

I called the 1 800 fafsa number but am none the wiser. They could not
assist me. In fact I am more confused as they told me that I had to list her excess scholarships on my tax return but I was sure she put them on hers.

Assuming you are the parent, they definitely told you wrong. The excess scholarships do go on your D’s return. Sounds like the skip logic allowed the student income to be ignored. You might have answered the parent info first, so it let the student income be skipped … or she might have answered it, but because it’s ignored, it doesn’t show up. Is your EFC 0? If so, it’s the auto 0 formula. The student could earn a million dollars & it would not make a difference.
