Every time I try to enter the fafsa id info to sign, it always sends me to a page saying
FAFSA on the Web has encountered an error. This could be due to normal maintenance. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
I tried clearing my cache, tried different browsers, tried on my phone, and still getting error. Had this error since yesterday
How can I fix it?

Yeah I’ve tried Firefox, Safari, and Google Chrome and I still get the same problem! I’m on a mac by the way! Any suggestions?
It’s working for me - can you get in now? My guess is that you actually did encounter normal maintenance, given that it was a Sunday evening/Monday morning time period.
Normally, I use Firefox but FAFSA only works on Internet Explorer.
I had no problem logging in on Chrome today.
