FAFSA Financial Aid Question at Umich

In-State. I finally got around to finishing my FAFSA, and my EFC=17185...what does this mean exactly and will Michigan still consider me for financial aid because it is after the Feb. 15 deadline? When should I finish filling out the CSS/Profile? asap?

Thanks to all that reply. I'm obviously the first in my family to attend college :-P

one word.. BALLER.

don't count on getting any money. first of all, you're a baller. secondly, you applied late. so yeah, don't count on it.. unless you're an honors student with 2390 SAT and 3.9 GPA.

you also can't forget that you're IN-STATE. even if you were out-of-state, i doubt that you would've gotten much or anything at all. that's a relatively high EFC.

That's a high EFC for a school that costs 40k a year out of state?

:(

That's bad news for me...

17185 is a high EFC? oh **** my EFC is 23000..... :(

My EFC is like $600...and I'm damned happy about it=P

If I get in, will I get any aid with my 10,000 EFC?

This tool is helpful for finding out how much UMich will cost/how much aid you will get:

ONLY for RESIDENTS^

How does the amt differ for OOS students?

Damn...if you would have gotten into an ivy your tuition would be significantly decreased. I lose at 51k. stupid federal government i hate you go suck a

bump to my q

wow my EFC=39941

and what is this feb 15 due date thing?
