This year I will need to complete the FAFSA for two students, for the first time. Does this mean I will complete 3 of them, one as the parent, and one for each student? I assume I need to get another pin for the new student. Are there any other hints to make it easier from those of you who have done this one before?

You will complete a FAFSA for each person attending college. If it is only the 2 kids then it will be one for each of them.. If you are also going to college then you will need 3.

However if this is your first time with the FAFSA you will have to request a pin for yourself in addition to both of your kids requesting pins

Ok, so it was one form with two pins, one for parent sig & one for student sig.
So, is there then a way to copy over all the parent info for student #2? Or do you have to start from scratch?

As far as I know you have to do it from scratch.
Student EFC will not take into account parent attending school, however parent EFC will take into account children attending school.
So say with one child attending school your EFC is $20,000, I believe that with two students attending school the EFC will be split not necessarily in half.
If the parent is also attending school the kids EFC will remain the same but yours will go down.
