I missed the student dateline for FAFSA for the UCs ( march 2nd) so is there any other financial aid i could still apply for ?
Is there anything else I can apply for which will help me pay for college?

<p>You should still file FAFSA and Cal Grant applications to see if you qualify for a Pell Grant, unsubsidized Stafford loan, work study or a Cal Grant. UC’s don’t meet need and seem pretty random about who gets their grants. Call SB to see what the might do.</p>
<p>Why did you miss the deadline? Everyone in California is aware of March 2 including high schools which have to send your GPA verification to the Cal Grant commission. FAFSA to the UCs by that date was a must.</p>

<p>You can still do FAFSA and will still be able to get any federal aid for which you are eligible. I believe the Calgrant deadline is pretty firm though. And you may have missed out on any limited funding campus based aid such as Perkins and SEOG (Assuming you were eligible in the first place.)</p>

<p>No one can help you further here. Go to FAFSA.com and file the form. Go to the Calgrant web site and see what the rues are and if you can still apply. Call UCSB financial aid and ask whether they can still consider you for grants and limited supply loans.</p>
