Is there still a question on the FAFSA for being a dislocated worker? 2021 income was good but if parent lost job Nov 2021 and have been on unemployment since is there a question which would help reflect current status of unemployment? thank you

This question was used to determine auto $0 EFC and simplified needs test. BUT the first qualifier was income. So if your income is above the threshold, the answer to this question wouldn’t help you, I believe.

If combined parental income exceeds $49,999, dislocated worker status is irrelevant. If reported income exceeds that amount, skip logic will result in you not seeing that question.
