FAFSA green card in process...

Hi I a applied to 4 University of California campuses...I filed for FAFSA and when I got my SAR it contained the following message:

"WHAT YOU MUST DO NOW:

The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) of the Department of Homeland Security did not have enough information to confirm that you are a noncitizen (Item 14) in an immigration status associated with the requirements of eligibility for the financial assistance for which you have applied. You must contact the financial aid office at your school to find out what information is needed. If you do not submit the required information within 30 days, or longer if your school allows, you may not be eligible for federal student aid. "

According to FAFSA website I am considered an eligible noncitizen because I have a document known as Advance Parole (or travel document) which proves that I have a pending green card with immigration, but when I called the schools they told me not to send anything until I know wether I've been accepted or not.

Does that sound about right??? I feel paranoid that my FAFSA will be dismissed if I don't do supply some sort of documentation proving eligibility.

Please if anyone has any experience with this it would be greatly appreciated!!!

To be consider as an eligible non-citizen for FAFSA, I think you need your I-94 which contains

you are more likely not considered eligible noncitisen. your parol is different from fasfa listed parol.

How is it different??? It says advance parole and valid for a year. This is so f’in confusing

indefinite parol or humatarian parol are not the same as advance parol.
