Today I tried to fill in my parent's income information for the EOP (Educational Opportunity Program). I didn't have anything to refer to so I decided to look it up from what I put in my FAFSA application. My browser for some reason didn't let me see my SAR or my correction history, so instead I clicked on Make Correction. Now it's saying I have to make a correction and submit it again. I have already submitted my FAFSA before and had it processed successfully. I'm wondering if even though it was already processed successfully that my application won't count anymore because it's waiting for a correction. If so, is it possible to to cancel the correction? Or do I have to submit it again? The problem is that because my parents don't have social security numbers, I have to send their signatures through mail. I understand that the deadline is 4 days away which concerns me because it would take 7 days for the signatures to reach their office.

No, you don’t need to submit a correction. Your FAFSA’s already been processed and will be available to the colleges you listed previously. If and when you were ever to complete the correction (which you won’t because you have nothing to correct), then that would be available also. If you never complete it, the version you submitted previously is what everyone sees.

Also, if you clicked on your SAR and update history and couldn’t see it, try disabling any popup blockers you may have active.

When you submit a correction, it will show which boxes you have changed before your final decision.
