FAFSA help

<p>Loras College. She plays alto sax and soprano sax. She chose Loras because she didn’t want excessive expectations for music performance. Almost every person in her band is not a music major. There were other schools that offered money without expecting her to major in music, but they expected double and triple time commitments for the same scholarship money. How do we know? We asked. It was easy enough to email those questions after the offers came in. After tryouts, if they want you, they will give you contact information. </p>

<p>She is also a member of Loras Mock Trial, which received an honorable mention at nationals, Harvard was also honorable mention. UCLA & NYU won it. Yes, I know much more is posted on this site about Harvard than Loras! She is able to travel the country for Mock. She is not planning on becoming a lawyer. Mock is great for public speaking. She is a Finance & Marketing major. </p>

<p>If your plan is pre-med, be careful of your time commitment for music. That combination of Biology, Chem, and Math the first year can be daunting!
If your plan is med school, try to keep your student loans down for undergrad.</p>
