<p>I was finally able to get the IRS retrieval tool to work today, but I'm afraid I made a mistake. I retrieved the data for our(parents) tax return and then signed and submitted - but forgot to link and retrieve my daughters info. When I reenter the FAFSA site I am now unable to make corrections or changes to my FAFSA? Any help?</p>
<p>You should log in
and it should say MAKE CORRECTIONS TO SUBMITTED FAFSA
then you change any information and re-submit</p>

<p>After submitting, there’s an interval of around a couple of days where you can’t make corrections. I think that during this time they process the update and notify the schools. After that, the “make corrections” link reappears. So just wait for that, then go ahead and retrieve the daughter’s tax info.</p>
