FAFSA Help

Hello All,

I'm new to this forum.Desperately seeking help/ more info related t completing the FAFsa for my child. Hoping one you 'pros' could help with an unoffical answers. While I wait patiently on the phone with the FA Office at the college. Here is my situation. I re-married in 2004, I've been separetly from my spouse for two years(not living together), (not legally separated). My daughter's biological father dided in 2011. On the FAFSA will I be required to input my spouse onforamtion eventhough we no longer live together, and I have no clue where he is?

Thanks for your help

All she needs is her custodial parents info, i’m assuming yours.

If you are separated from you spouse, you do not have to use his information on the FAFSA.

At some point, you MIGHT be asked to show documentation of this separation so have this in case you are asked. This could include separate leases, or other documents showing you are actually not living together.
