Entering Law Students please check the Admitted Student Website.

If you feel you have received this message in error please contact your respective Financial Aid Office.

i was wondering if anyone is still getting this message. i just recently submitted the required documents under the requirements page and they have received it but have not processed it yet.

I actually got the message too. I got all award previews from the UC’s except Davis so I called a week ago and asked a financial aid worker. Well basically I put the wrong social security number on my application but besides that it was fine. So they just told me it’ll be up in a week or so. But I read from a credible source that what you get from one UC is equivalent to what you get in another. Unless you get into the honor program and get bonus, if you get say… 15,000 all together in UCSB you should be receiving around the same in Davis (and every other UC).

but you’re guaranteed to get the aid right? because that’s basically my deciding factor right now

Yeah, well I really hope I get some. That’s my deciding factor as well! Well not really but it’ll be good to know I’ll be getting aid… I’m going to call them tomorrow to see where I stand. The student on the phone helping me was very nice haha. You should call them before the weekend hits.

haha i was busy the whole day so didnt get a chance to call. did you call? what did they say?

i got an incomplete email too. except mine says that i need to verify my tax return information using the IRS data retrieval tool. when i first submitted it, i thought that using the tool was optional and also my parents recently filed their taxes so it was probably not on their database yet, so i just entered their info based on the paperwork.
i filed my fafsa on march 1, and got it processed on march 2, but now i got that email saying that it’s incomplete and i need to turn it in by may 15th, is it considered late for the UCs and cal states i’m applying to?

(cont’d) since UCs says that their deadline is march 2.

I think that’s because they don’t have info for the 2012-2013 year yet. Right now, when I log into MyAwards, the latest academic year that you can select is 2011-2012.

Last year, UCD didn’t completely release financial aid info until sometime in April or May, if I remember correctly.
